FAIR Consulting Group partnered with McGrathNicol to elevate their SAP environment through two strategic initiatives: upgrading their cloud platform and automating key processes.
In our first initiative, we simplified and automated user access to critical applications by leveraging SAP BTP. By eliminating manual steps, employees now enjoy a seamless experience, accessing the tools they need from anywhere, including mobile devices.
We also transitioned McGrathNicol’s system from Neo to a more advanced cloud platform, Cloud Foundry, ensuring their technology is built to support future growth. This included reviewing and optimising 143 integrations, paving the way for better performance and smoother operations. We also provided guidance on structuring their system to maximise efficiency and future scalability.
These enhancements have empowered McGrathNicol with a more efficient, user-friendly and future-ready SAP environment, boosting both productivity and the overall user experience.

Optimising SAP Access and Mobility for McGrathNicol
FAIR Consulting Group provided McGrathNicol with a customised solution using SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP) to simplify their user management processes. The solution automated the replication of user groups and access, significantly reducing the need for manual work and ensuring staff could quickly and easily access the BTP applications they needed.
The project also involved aligning user groups with specific roles, making it easier for McGrathNicol’s operations team to manage user permissions within their SAP system.
In addition, SAP Mobile Start was configured, enabling employees to access essential BTP applications from their mobile devices. This enhancement improved accessibility and allowed staff to work seamlessly on the go.
Seamless Migration from Neo to Cloud Foundry for McGrathNicol
FAIR Consulting Group successfully migrated McGrathNicol’s SAP environment from the Neo platform to Cloud Foundry, addressing critical limitations in scalability, flexibility and modern development capabilities.
The project involved a comprehensive review and migration of 143 interfaces, including iFlows and IRPA processes, ensuring continuous improvements and compatibility with SAP’s evolving technology landscape.
