PROJECT SUMMARY

FAIR Consulting Group partnered with Golding Contractors to establish a scalable SAP Business Technology Platform foundation and enable digital adoption across multiple business areas. This document outlines the results of four distinct engagements with Golding Contractors that leverage SAP Business Technology Platform. The engagement began with defining the BTP architecture and governance framework, enabling Cloud Identity Services with Golding Contractors Corporate IdP. With the foundation in place, Golding Contractors had started adopting SAP BTP services as a go-to solution for their current business challenges. FAIR then delivered high-impact use cases on top of the platform, including Single Touch Payroll (STP) compliance with the ATO, automated labour timesheets using OCR and RPA and a cloud-based printing process integrating SAP ECC with SharePoint Cloud. Together, these initiatives started a long transformation of Golding Contractors’s Cloud landscape into a governed, automated, compliant and scalable digital core, positioning it to continue innovating confidently on SAP BTP.

SCALABLE SAP BTP FOUNDATION ENABLES DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FOR GOLDING CONTRACTORS

Golding Contractors faced significant challenges at the start of their SAP BTP journey due to the lack of a defined architecture, governance framework and best-practice guidance. This limited their ability to scale platform adoption, while reliance on manual, paper-based processes created inefficiencies, data inconsistencies and increased audit complexity. This included defining architecture and governance frameworks, implementing best-practice account structures and enabling secure user access through SAP Cloud Identity Services integrated with Microsoft Entra ID. FAIR also delivered key automation and integration solutions, including SAP Integration Suite for ATO STP compliance, SAP ECC to SharePoint Cloud integration and RPA-driven workflows to streamline operations.

Manual processes were transformed through OCR and automation, reducing operational effort and improving data accuracy. At the same time, SAP Integration Suite became the central backbone for ERP integrations, ensuring secure, compliant and efficient data flows across systems.
