MODERNISING DEVOPS AND PLATFORM MANAGEMENT TO IMPROVE CONTROL, VISIBILITY AND SECURITY

Spicers partnered with FAIR Consulting Group to modernise its DevOps and platform management capabilities using SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM and Identity Authentication Service (IAS). Previously, build and deployment processes were largely manual, with limited visibility into system performance and fragmented access control, resulting in inefficiencies, delays and increased operational risk.

FAIR implemented a structured DevOps framework, introducing CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes and significantly reduce manual intervention. SAP Cloud ALM was deployed to enable centralised monitoring, providing real-time visibility into system health, performance and alerts. In parallel, SAP IAS was implemented to establish secure, centralised authentication, ensuring controlled and compliant access across the platform.

The integrated solution improved operational control and governance while accelerating deployment cycles and enhancing system reliability. With automated processes, real-time monitoring and secure access now in place, Spicers has a scalable and efficient platform foundation to support ongoing innovation and business growth.
